The free breakfast had a good variety including southern breakfast items and fresh fruit. Also, the bed was comfortable.
The customer service was lacking. The night staff was rude and unhelpful. The security guard threatened to kick us out of the hotel over a mask misunderstanding. In addition, the front desk staff gave contradictory information about the shuttle service, which led to us missing our bus. the lack of good customer service made the stay frustrating and unpleasant.

The setting was secure, short walk to the airport, Birmingham, the restaurant. The hotel room was updated with the coffee and a decent view, for instance. No complaints, I loved the stay and will be back.

The staff was friendly and helpful during my stay. I particularly appreciate the complimentary bottled water and shuttle service available to the airport. The location was perfect for travelers who need to catch an early flight. The room itself was clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities.
I experienced some downsides during my stay. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and there were some rusty and moldy spots. Additionally, my pre-arrival request for a rollaway bed was not accommodated as the facility was overbooked. Finally, the noisy neighbors left a lasting impression on my stay. I had mixed feelings about my experience. While there were some great aspects, the negatives feel equally important and detract from my overall opinion.

Loved the king room I was given, it had central heating, multi-channel TV and a mini-fridge. The breakfast in the morning was awesome and complete with bacon, sausage. The location of the hotel was unbeatable - not too far from Grace Episcopal Church.

The Christmas decorations were festive and added some cheer to the dark and dreary winter weather. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The shuttle service to and from the airport was convenient and prompt.
The restaurant was a huge disappointment. The food was bland and overpriced, leaving much to be desired. The decor of the restaurant was outdated and uninviting. Our room was noisy, making it difficult to sleep at night. The walls were thin, allowing us to hear every sound from the hallway and neighboring rooms. while the complementary features were nice, the negatives definitely outweighed the positives during our stay.

We were moved to a standard queen room with a separate bedroom and free ice, for example.
